Responsibilities

Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for state, local, and education accounts within Texas and New Mexico
Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire sales cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer challenges, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, negotiating agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction
Leverage deep understanding of Public Sector challenges and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a strategic partner for their digital transformation initiatives
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical Specialists and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales
Experience working with the Texas Public Sector market including government, state, municipalities, or education entities

Preferred

Experience selling Cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software across the public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes
Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business
Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations
Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams
Experience working with customer engineers and customers technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases
Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives
