1+ years expESP Associates, Inc. is a dynamic and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm seeking a SUE Technician to join their team. The role involves designating utilities, performing records research, and managing field operations in utility designating.
Design
Responsibilities
Previous experience designating utilities and performing records research required, preferably in an engineering design environment
1-3 years field experience in utility designating
Working knowledge of Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetic pipe & cable locating equipment, and vacuum excavation a plus
Strong management and organizational skills while performing field operations
Experience with DOT, municipal, and/or public utility projects a plus
Skills involved in the preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists & timesheets, and vehicle navigation are required
Surveying and/or drafting experience a plus, but not required
Position will involve some travel out of town
Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy

Required
