Responsibilities

Serves as the principal financial leader for the Operations departments at UF Health Shands Hospital
Provides administrative, financial, operational, and analytical support to the COO, Vice President of Operations, and respective divisions
Supports program growth initiatives that drive the financial and operational success of the organization
Works independently and creatively on special projects as assigned
Performs strategic planning and data analysis to support operational decision-making
Develops business plans as needed
Conducts project return on investment (ROI) analyses
Supports the position control process

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline required
Five or more years of progressive healthcare financial management experience required
Strong expertise in healthcare financial analysis, modeling, and operational support
Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leaders
Proven knowledge of hospital operations, budgeting, capital planning, and labor productivity management
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation required (refer to CP 1.51)

Preferred

Master's degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred
Experience in a large hospital system or academic medical center preferred
