Uniform Crime Report Prgm Mgr
The North Dakota Office of Attorney General is responsible for overseeing the Uniform Crime Reporting Program in the state. The Uniform Crime Report Manager will coordinate the program, provide support services to law enforcement agencies, and ensure data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the state-wide North Dakota Uniform Crime Reporting/lncident Based Reporting (UCR/IBR) program
Provide phone support for crime statistics reporting software provided by the Office of Attorney General
Work cooperatively with local law enforcement agencies to ensure timely, error-free, and complete data submissions
Process routine UCR/IBR submissions and ensure data quality
Assist with design and updates to reporting forms and manuals
Conduct training on the use of incident report forms, manuals, and crime statistics reporting software provided by the Office of Attorney General. This requires in-state travel and a valid driver's license. Must have or obtain POST certification as a law enforcement trainer
Prepare statistical reports and provide access to crime statistics information
Respond to and document requests for information
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Two (2) year Associates degree with major coursework in office support, business, or office education; and two (2) years of relevant work experience
Must have or obtain POST certification as a law enforcement trainer
A valid driver's license is required as this position requires in-state travel
Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of a personal computer, with knowledge and use of a word processing package, and experience in Windows, spreadsheets, and databases
Demonstrated ability to communicate tactfully and with emphasis on customer service
Ability to establish and maintain effective harmonious working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational skills

Successful completion of the interview process, along with reference checks, and extensive background and criminal record checks
Preferred
Preference will be given to individuals with coursework and/or work experience in the criminal justice field
