Responsibilities
Lead an experimental evaluation effort of a novel optical analytical system
Perform a large number of experiments and organize and process large volumes of imaging data
Digest the data and propose new avenues of exploration and system improvements based on the results
Qualification
Required
MS or PhD in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in experimental evaluation of optical analytical systems
Strong team work and communication skills
Presence in Wilmington due to the hands-on in-the-lab nature of the position
Preferred
Background in optical testing and systems, with emphasis on fluorescence and biological fluorescence analysis
Experience with python programming and automation of data analysis
