Responsibilities
Assists the public to obtain licenses, permits and titles in the County Auditor's Mall Service Center Office
Evaluates and reviews documents for inaccuracies or possible fraud
Prepares and processes Minnesota identification card applications and driver's license applications
Processes and renews registrations for vehicles and recreational vehicles, and completes title transfers
Accepts and processes passports and issues Department of Natural Resources (DNR) titles, licenses and renewals
Receives payments for property taxes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or its equivalent
Three (3) years full-time paid verifiable experience in a position requiring handling cash transactions
Possession of a valid driver's license or state identification card
Certification as a License Title Agent within one (1) year of employment. Failure to obtain certification within one (1) year will result in termination from the position
Preferred
Experience in handling cash in a customer facing role is preferred
