Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will bridge the gap between engineering vision and delivery, ensuring customer-centric speed while managing complex technical initiatives and facilitating collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery lifecycle of complex technical initiatives
Act as the primary translation layer between engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
Anticipate future trends and roadblocks
Identify dependencies and risks early, implementing mitigation strategies
Champion continuous improvement by leveraging feedback as an upgrade path
Use data and analytics to refine our development processes
Facilitate clear, active listening and communication across the organization
Manage daily execution via Kanban to minimize the burden on leaders and keep the team focused on high-impact work

Required

3+ years of project management experience, ideally in a successful startup where you played a pivotal role or within a cloud-native/DevOps environment
Strong understanding of industry dynamics, familiar with Kubernetes architecture, containerization (Docker, Helm), and DevOps principles (CI/CD, Terraform)
Experience managing workflows using modern project tracking tools, specifically Linear, and can organize complex Kanban boards effectively
Metrics driven with a proven track record of delivering results and effectively prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Thrive in an Idea Meritocracy, creating space for the best solutions to surface regardless of origin, adaptable to different work styles, and capable of leading cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority

Preferred

PMP, Scrum Master, or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or prior experience as a software engineer
Experience automating workflows or integrating tools to improve team efficiency
