Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasting processes, including the consolidation and in-depth analysis of financial and other performance data
Prepare and analyze recurring financial reporting and performance dashboards across e-commerce and retail channels, providing deep insights into key performance drivers, identifying risks, and uncovering strategic opportunities
Monitor financial performance vs. plan and help uncover insights behind variances
Develop financial models to support business initiatives, such as new product launches, pricing & FX analyses, and setting and tracking key KPIs
Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and significant opportunities for improvement, helping translate data into actionable business strategies
Build an in-depth understanding of where the business is today and where it is trending in the future
Partner with functional leaders, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to provide strategic financial guidance and analytical support for their initiatives
Drive continuous improvement and innovation of FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, including integration of financial planning systems and processes into our parent company
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting, supporting month-end close activities and coordination with Accounting as applicable
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred
6-8 years of progressive experience in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, investment banking or accounting
Extensive experience with e-commerce or DTC businesses is highly preferred
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and advanced financial reporting principles
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
