DIA SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a Sr Healthcare Business/Data Analyst to join their Data Analytics and Visualization team. The role involves reviewing data sources and systems to ensure data validity and reliability and developing actionable recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

Review and assess the existing data sources and data source systems within the agency and identify threats to data validity and reliability
Work with the Division of Community Services, the Division of Clinical and Quality Management, the Division of Administration, and stakeholders to identify and develop actionable recommendations
Review data source training materials; conduct subject matter expert and stakeholder interviews; review system training materials; shadow data source users; conduct source system table analysis, review, synthesize and prioritize all threats; develop and present actionable recommendations to mitigate identified threats

Required

5+ years of BA Experience in IT projects
IT software/application project experience required
Experience with MS Excel spreadsheets
Knowledge of data warehouses
Ability to assess data validity and reliability
Experience conducting data source/system reviews
Ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data
Experience evaluating business processes and system procedures
Ability to build trust and working relationships
Facilitation and interview skills
Translation of technical issues into plain language
Project management and self-management skills

Preferred

Experience conducting threat or risk assessments
Experience working in state government or large public-sector organizations
Familiarity with health, behavioral health, or human services data systems
Experience validating data used for reporting, performance measures, or compliance
SQL
Experience supporting system modernization or data improvement initiatives
Experience presenting findings to leadership or executive audiences
