Responsibilities
Architect and Drive Inorganic Growth: Set the strategic direction for Uber's inorganic growth across Mobility, AV, Delivery, and Freight, partnering with senior operating leaders to identify and secure acquisitions that deliver durable competitive advantage
Direct End-to-End M&A Execution: Lead the full M&A lifecycle, owning deal strategy, prioritization, and outcomes while directing complex cross-functional teams through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing
Define Investment Standards: Establish the rigorous investment bar by driving clear business cases, advanced valuation methodologies, and capital allocation frameworks, focusing specifically on long-term shareholder value creation
Advise Executive Leadership: Serve as a critical senior advisor to executive leadership, leading high-stakes investment discussions, surfacing critical trade-offs and risks, and maintaining accountability from initial sourcing through post-close value realization
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or venture capital, with a significant focus on the technology sector
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Preferred
MBA or Advanced Degree: From a top-tier global institution
Proven M&A Track Record: Demonstrated experience leading and closing large-scale, complex transactions in a fast-paced, global environment
Exceptional Financial Literacy: Mastery of valuation methodologies, three-statement modeling, and capital structure analysis
Operating Experience: Previous experience within a high-growth technology platform, providing a nuanced understanding of product-led growth and marketplace dynamics
Strategic Breadth: Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and granular execution/operational details
Global Perspective: Experience navigating cross-border transactions and diverse regulatory environments
