Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of support to a team of Escrow Support Processors, Escrow Officers and Escrow Assistances
Work is very similar to work performed at an associate level, although tasks may be slightly more complex with greater experience and knowledge
Perform clerical functions to set up escrow files
Perform compliance audits, reconcile fees and address outstanding funds
Perform disbursements of funds
Process and prepare FIRPTA signing packages for closing
Process and deliver FIRPTA remittances to IRS
Prepare, package and deliver checks and documents to customers/clients
Perform check deposits and issue refunds to customers/clients
Schedule and provide instructions to delivery couriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS etc…)
Communicate and address concerns with branches, as needed
May work on special projects
Follow functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities; troubleshoots as needed
Actively contributes to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives
Train new team members, as needed
May perform other duties as assigned based on the business or team needs

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of escrow processing experience
Must be able to follow Escrow Procedures and have awareness of regulations governing escrow process
Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to multitask and troubleshoot problems
Must be able to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
Must be open and adaptable to changes (department or company changes, process steps…)
Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must be able to practice good judgement and decision making
Must have good time management
Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
