Regional Parts / Service Manager

The Regional Parts / Service Manager will lead efforts in customer satisfaction, parts and accessory sales, warranty cost control, and service owner retention while overseeing district managers and supporting the sale of Kia products.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, implementation, and execution of Regional after sales activities to support customer satisfaction improvement
Design and/or implement Regional and Corporate fixed operations marketing and after sale support programs to contribute toward achievement of parts and accessory sales objectives
Oversee DPSM activities related to the monitoring of dealer Warranty Expense, ensuring compliance with policies & procedures, and implementation of corrective actions where necessary
Assist in the design, implementation, and execution of Regional after sales activities (i.e. dealer process improvements and marketing efforts) to support Service Owner Loyalty improvement
Oversee DPSM activities related to the effective implementation and utilization of Dealer parts inventory management tools to enhance the quality of Dealer parts inventories

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and demonstrated skill are required
6 to 8 years automotive experience, preferably in both retail and automotive manufacturer/distributors
Demonstrated evidence of retailer operations and business, either formal education or automotive related experience
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve retailer and customer issues, consistent with Kia policies/procedures
Advanced PC skills in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
Technical Certificates a plus
Wholesale (at the OE level) and retail (at dealership level) experience desirable
