Responsibilities
Developing, maintaining, and optimizing software solutions that enable mission critical systems and applications
Creating high quality software to enhance system performance and scalability
Implementing automation to streamline workflows and processes
Developing tools to support data integrity and secure software operations
Working within an Agile team supporting multiple software products, prioritizing enhancements and bug fixes, and managing tasks efficiently to ensure smooth delivery of quality software
Qualification
Required
Principal Engineer Software (Level 3): Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relative experience; master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of relative experience
Sr. Principal Engineer Software (Level 4): Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of relative experience; master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6+ years of relative experience
Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility required at time of application
Experience with designing, testing, implementing, and developing in Java
Experience with Git
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Helm
Experience with databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or MySQL
Experience with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
Preferred
Experience with creating Rest API's
Experience with ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ
Experience with Linux
Experience with micro service architecture
