Responsibilities

Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of insurance sales, claims experience, or other key business metrics to help support strategic decisions within the business unit
Develop, interpret, and present analysis and proposals to various stakeholder groups to help solve mid to high level business problems in pursuit of company goals
Employ basic statistical techniques to model various underwriting and pricing business practices

Required

Must have experience with Pricing or Product/State Management Analytical experience in the INSURANCE INDUSTRY
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or other relevant quantitative field of study OR Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus prior experience
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Highly effective communication skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI
Ability to work independently given general direction and to thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing
Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results
Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions
Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Previous experience in auto insurance. Experience specifically in Commercial Auto is a plus
