They are seeking a highly capable Production Supervisor to supervise the assembly, maintenance, and repair of products, ensuring production goals are met and leading a team of assemblers.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of assemblers to conduct detail-oriented assembly of sub-assemblies, finished goods, as well as clinical, and commercial devices
Oversee assembly of all products and train assemblers
Direct leads and assemblers on daily tasks to meet monthly goals
Train leads on picking and printing SO and WO using MRP
Ensure all assemblers are following and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Quality Management System (QMS)
Understand and be able to perform in-process quality inspection of product
Assist in material picking and material handling
Understand inventory level and communicate part requirements
Understand Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software including, but not limited to:
Updating commercial Sales Orders (SO)
Creating SO for accessories requests
Managing Work Orders (WO) including picking, voiding, adjusting WO and parts
Printing out SO, WO and issuing to materials handler or assemblers according to planned goals
Understanding and using software such as Excel, Word, DocuSign and JotForm a plus
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies together
Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and requesting repairs when required
Document actions by completing production and quality forms
Use typical manufacturing equipment including cutters, rulers, measuring tape and understanding Electrostatic Static Discharge (ESD) and reading pressure gauges
Identify defective items and handle according to established procedures
Use reason and experience to solve problems as they arise
Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement
Ensure Production space is consistently clean and organized
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry

Required

3+ years of manufacturing assembly experience working in a medical device or similar regulated environment (e.g. aeronautical)
1+ year in leading or supervising a team of assemblers
High School Diploma, GED or higher education
Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
Skilled with mechanical and electrical assembly
Familiarity with using computers and excellent computer skills
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors
Must have good communication and personal skills
Some experience with MRP systems
Demonstrable understanding of medical device GMP requirements
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
3+ solid references

Preferred

Understanding and using software such as Excel, Word, DocuSign and JotForm a plus
Tools and Technology: G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Salesforce CRM, etc
