Manager Engineering & Maintenance

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage engineering and maintenance initiatives across multiple sites located in Houston and Pflugerville
Ensure engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications
Oversee plant modifications, upgrades, and new installations to support production requirements
Actively support and promote plant safety initiatives, driving a culture of safety first in all engineering and maintenance operations
Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures
Manage site maintenance requirements and implement preventative maintenance program
Develop and support the Management of Change Process
Ensure site compliance with written programs, company guidelines and accredited standards (such as TS16949, ISO 14000, and OSHAS 18001, NFPA, API, ASME)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in the coatings, paint, or chemical industry
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and equipment
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills and experience that enable delivery of time-pressured projects to meet all schedule, budget, operational, quality, and health & safety targets
Ability to multitask effectively and execute multiple projects and assignments at various stages, working with cross-functional teams and different internal and external stakeholders
Customer-centric mindset, prioritizing product optimization and process efficiencies
Demonstrated understanding of pertinent regulatory compliance and approval requirements as it relates to existing and new technology
Proficiency working with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.), CAD software, SAP, etc
Strong written and oral communication skills in English required for internal / external reporting and communication
