HR Consultant III (Temporary)

The NC Office of State Human Resources is responsible for providing a solid Human Resource management foundation. They are seeking a temporary HR Consultant III to serve as a senior analyst in the classification and compensation department, optimizing recruitment and retention strategies for various occupational areas.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior analyst in the classification and compensation department to optimize the ability of DSDHH to recruit and retain employees in a variety of occupational areas, including administrative and professional occupations
Complete classification and compensation requests, such as creating new positions, reallocations, and salary adjustments
May conduct studies for reorganizations
Consult with management on position and organizational design
Apply relevant federal/state rules and regulations during job evaluation and salary administration

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 4 years of experience required
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
equivalent combination of education and experience
