Executive Director, Grants Management & Development

Two Blind Brothers is an apparel company and charity focused on advancing cures for blindness and supporting the blind community. They are seeking an Executive Director of Grants Management & Development to lead their grant strategy and execution, manage the full grant lifecycle, and build a scalable fundraising function within the organization.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a grants pipeline aligned with our mission and programs, including foundations, corporate giving, and public funding opportunities as applicable
Develop and maintain a grants calendar to ensure timely submissions, renewals, and follow-up touchpoints
Research and qualify new grant opportunities; assess fit, eligibility, and competitiveness
Maintain organized funder profiles, submission history, requirements, and relationship notes
Write and submit high-quality LOIs, proposals, and applications, ensuring consistency with our mission, voice, and program strategy
Collaborate with leadership and internal team to gather program details, budgets, evaluation plans, and impact metrics
Develop and manage reusable content (standard language, program descriptions, organizational background, budgets, and attachments) to streamline submissions
Lead grant reporting (interim and final), coordinating outcomes, narrative reporting, and financial inputs as needed
Ensure compliance with funder requirements and maintain documentation for audit readiness
Support funder stewardship through timely updates, impact stories, and relationship touchpoints to increase renewal likelihood
Track performance across submissions and renewals; recommend improvements to increase win rate and retention
Partner with leadership to shape fundraising priorities and refine our case for support and messaging
Improve and maintain development systems (tracking, templates, document library, reporting dashboards) to keep work scalable and organized
Support donor and partner communications as needed, including acknowledgements and impact updates
Identify and operationalize additional fundraising opportunities aligned with organizational capacity and strategy

Required

3+ years of experience managing institutional grants (foundation, corporate, and/or public), with demonstrated success taking proposals from prospecting through submission, reporting, and renewal
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills; strong attention to detail and voice consistency
Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple concurrent grant deadlines
Experience preparing interim and final grant reports, coordinating narrative and financial inputs, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements
Comfortable working with budgets and basic financial narratives (in partnership with leadership/finance support)
Self-starter mentality with sound judgment, discretion, and follow-through

Preferred

Experience in disability advocacy, accessibility, education, public health, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
Familiarity with common tools: Google Workspace, GenAI, grant portals, CRMs
