Responsibilities

Support in Managing the Fixed Income Structuring team and market the full suite of Fixed Income products and solutions alongside the sales force
To price Rates and Credit Derivatives products (including, but not limited to, Structured products, Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), Funding Value Adjustments (FVA)) and execution when appropriate alongside the relevant trading team
Develop and implement products, including creating and designing new products, customising existing offerings to clients and situations, and obtaining Total Product Lifecycle Advisory Program (TAP) and Third Party Due Diligence (NPDD) product approval
To market the Fixed Income product suite through client presentations, sales teach-ins, and internal marketing
Work closely with the sales teams, Debt Capital Market (DCM), General Manager (GM) Management Office, and other stakeholders
Coordinate with other asset class teams to deliver joint products and solutions
Monitor regulatory and accounting changes at both client and bank level, and review the impacts on rates, credit derivatives, and financing products, including identifying solutions to mitigate them
Manage and review the day-to-day activity on the desk as a supervisor
Monitor that the team’s activities and behaviours comply with all HSBC standards, policies, and procedures (Goals, Signals, Measures (GSM)/File Integrity Monitoring (FIM)), including legal, regulatory, and exchange rules
Ensure all transactions deliver fair outcomes for customers and do not disrupt the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets, in line with the HSBC Code of Conduct
Act on unusual or unacceptable activity or behaviours and to escalate appropriately

Required

Extensive experience with Financial Markets and knowledge of derivatives products
Good overview on regulation and accounting, including upcoming changes which impact the industry
Good understanding of different client business models
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with very strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
FINRA series 7 & 63 licenses are required
