Responsibilities

Operates hospital switchboard in order to provide information and direct calls to appropriate areas
Responsible for overhead paging of personnel, meeting times as well as all emergency codes
Ensures smooth functioning of switchboard

Qualification

Customer service experienceVerbal communication skillsWritten communication skillsMedical proceduresEffective working relationships

Required

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Must have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
