Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for laboratory services
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
Oversee laboratory operations, staffing, workflows, and performance outcomes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality
Collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, and clinical teams
Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning
Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory management and staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
Minimum Education: BA/BS in Medical Technology or a scientific discipline
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisive judgments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven ability to perform effectively in a stressful healthcare environment
Preferred
Master's Degree (MBA, MA, or MS in a scientific or related discipline)
Previous Director-level laboratory leadership experience
