Responsibilities
Evaluating, training, developing, and managing assigned employees
Providing guidance and information to staff
Ensuring proper case management and procedures
Working with the public in routine and difficult situations
Establishing/maintaining effective communication with District Court employees, judges, public and other agencies
Other assignments as designated by the Clerk of the District Court
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school and one year of court or legal experience
Graduation from an accredited four-year college may be substituted for the required court or legal experience
Computer experience and organizational skills essential
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to understand court procedures, policies and Kansas laws and make decisions accordingly
Preferred
Exemplary customer service skills a plus
