Responsibilities

Conducting laboratory, field, or computational research activities
Collecting, managing, and analyzing research data
Assisting with experimental design and protocol implementation
Maintaining laboratory equipment, materials, and documentation
Contributing to manuscripts, reports, and presentations
Collaborating with faculty, staff, graduate students, and other research personnel

Required

B.A./B.S. in a related field at the time of hire
1-3 years of relevant professional experience for Research Associate I
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service
Exemplary organizational and time management skills
Successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by time of application; the Animal Sciences department will not provide visa sponsorship for these positions
3 or more years of relevant professional experience or a master's degree with no experience for Research Associate II
5 or more years of experience or a master's degree with 2 years of experience for Research Associate III
Individuals with a PhD who have no experience may also be appointed to Research Associate III if appropriate
Successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. by date of hire; the Animal Sciences department will not provide visa sponsorship for these positions
Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires)
