Sr Director of Human Resources
SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence is responsible for managing all human resources activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The Sr Director of Human Resources will lead HR initiatives, manage employee relations, and oversee the HR team to align with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities
Performs more complex quantitative analysis for business processes and projects
Providing employee relations strategy, including managing positive associate relations, monitors work environment, monitors consistent treatment, focus groups, employee crisis intervention, guarantee fair treatment
Responsible for documentation and disciplinary action training for leaders, also partner with leaders for disciplinary action delivery
Handles all legal tasks after a termination, escalation to legal counsel when needed
Participates in EEOC Claim responses, Unemployment Hearing, coordinate responses to subpoenas, mediation and litigation if needed
Partnering with the corporate Comptroller/Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Employee Relations functions to effectively deliver HR programs and initiatives
Partner with leadership to identify, cultivate and drive key Talent Management initiatives to include leadership development, talent and performance management, individual development plans, change management, and workforce and succession planning
Lead the management, mentoring and development of SFE/CENAVERA Management’s HR team members to pivot from a short term, transactional focus to a long term, strategic business partner outlook
Effectively partnering with operational teammates and senior leadership on key issues, regional support, and business strategy
Serving as a member of the EC Leadership Team & the combined Cenavera Inc. Leadership Team ensuring alignment
Create and implement Company policies, manuals and handbooks depending on the labor market
Protects the interests of employees and the Company for all HR policies, governmental laws, rules, and regulations
Oversees keeping employees informed of all changes in HR policies including training if required
Partners with Sr. Rewards/Payroll/Comptroller leaders to research, establish and recommend, wage and salary structure, updates compensation programs
Oversees Labor law general compliance for the Organization, including the adherence to the Federal Wage and Hour Law/FSLA and any other legal requirements
Oversees administration of Engagement Surveys and completion of action plans. Provide analysis and schedule visits or meetings for employee’s feedback
Provides senior leadership feedback on employee morale, possible trends and potential legal issues, indicating suggested corrective action
Ensures processes are in place to conduct exit interviews, track potential trends, discuss findings
Oversees and ensures processes are in place to evaluate criminal history reports, driver’s license checks
Coordinates the administration, evaluation, negotiation for all fringes benefits and insurances of employee safety, health, liability, workers compensation, security, and benefits programs
Directs preparation and maintenance for certain required reports. Establishes and maintains general control methods, records, files as required for effective and legally sounded HR functions. Safeguard company files
Recommends new approaches, policies and processes to influence continue improvements
Keep President/CEO and Parent Company informed of significant problems that may jeopardize the Company’s goals
Complete other duties or administrative request requests as assigned

Ability to pass an extensive nationwide criminal background check and fingerprint analysis
Advance Labor Law knowledge (multi-state)
At least 5 years of HR senior management experience
Preferred
Prefer a relevant degree such as bachelor's and master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Business/Administration, MBA, Human Resources Management, Management, Psychology, Graduate, Administration
