Responsibilities
Own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap for mophie’s mobile power portfolio, including power banks, wireless charging, wall adapters, cables, and battery cases
Translate consumer insights, market trends, competitive analysis, and business goals into clear product strategies and investment priorities
Make decisive trade-offs across features, cost, timing, and complexity to maximize business impact
Partner closely with engineering, industrial design, marketing, sales, and Asia-based product development teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Own product financials, including COGS, BOM targets, and margin performance, and drive decisions required to hit them
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering accountability, growth, and innovation
Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and continuous improvement
Establish and scale product management operating rhythms, tools, and processes as the portfolio grows
Serve as the primary product point of accountability for internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Present product strategy, roadmap updates, and performance insights to senior leadership
Champion the voice of the customer and uphold high standards for design, usability, and product quality
Qualification
Required
10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a people-leadership role
Bachelor's degree required
Proven track record of launching successful consumer hardware or consumer packaged goods, ideally in mobile accessories, power products, or adjacent categories
Demonstrated ownership of cost, schedule, and quality outcomes, not just product planning
Experience accelerating time-to-market and/or reducing manufacturing and total product cost
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business judgment
Hands-on experience working with engineering, operations, sourcing, and contract manufacturers
Experience leading and scaling product teams in fast-paced or growth-oriented environments
Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
Preferred
MBA or relevant technical degree preferred
