Nursing Invoice Processor

BioMatrix is a nationwide, independently-owned infusion pharmacy dedicated to supporting patients on specialty medication. The Nursing Invoice Processor is responsible for the timely collection and processing of nursing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols while collaborating with nurses and agencies to resolve any billing issues.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the basic knowledge and judgment to ensure timely and accurate processing of nursing invoices in accordance with established protocols
Read and extract data from invoices to verify information and process invoices for payment
Collects required nursing visit paperwork, performs central data collection to ensure paperwork meets criteria, and approves/submits paperwork for payment processing
Tracking, reviewing, approving and issuing invoices
Investigating slow approvals
Resolve billing errors
Works to reduce the amount of past due or denied invoices
Other work assigned as needed
Performs all duties in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of two (2) years of data entry experience in a healthcare setting required
Strong knowledge of invoice procedures, a meticulous approach to work, accuracy, time management, teamwork, computer competencies, and confidentiality
Experience with medical terminology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred

Prior experience processing invoices preferred
