Responsibilities

Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance

Qualification

Environmental ScienceGISOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER CertificationData Interpretation SoftwareEnvironmental RegulationsOffice SoftwareTechnical Report WritingCommunication Skills

Required

BA/BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Geology, Engineering Geology or related field + 0 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required
As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a drug screening
As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a medical screening
Willing to work in a hybrid work environment, with office presence for two days a week

Preferred

Proficiency in standard office suite software applications
OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification
GIS and other data interpretation software skills are desirable (e.g., R, Grapher, Surfer, etc.)
Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner
Knowledge of CADD/GIS
Willingness to travel, complete field work, and work extended hours, when necessary
Knowledge of Southeast States environmental regulations and setting
