Responsibilities

Deliver results against business and financial objectives, applying knowledge and practices both independently and as a team
Gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts and leaders
Participate in social and networking opportunities, weekly tech talks, and community involvement

Required

Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in: Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance or equivalent
General cost and accounting knowledge
Experience in a Finance/ Accounting with class or internship experience
Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized
Excellent communication (including presentation) skills
Excellent problem solving capability
Data driven problem solving capability
Ability to work independently
Drive towards continuous process improvement
Interest in working in different Finance function areas
Minimum GPA of 3.5

Preferred

Working towards a Master's degree in related area not required but desirable
Certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.)
Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification – a plus
