Responsibilities
Build, configure, test, and deploy HL7, X12, NCPDP SCRIPT, API, and SFTP-based integrations across customer environments
Implement and support HL7 interfaces including ADT, SIU, ORM/OMP, and RDE/RDS workflows
Configure and validate X12 transactions (e.g., 271, 277, 278) and pharmacy-related data exchanges as needed
Ensure secure connectivity using VPNs, certificates, IP allowlists, and secure file transport mechanisms
Diagnose and resolve interface errors, data mismatches, message failures, and transport issues across test and production environments
Analyze logs, message payloads, acknowledgments, and retries to identify root causes
Partner with customer IT teams and internal Engineering to triage and escalate
Participate in go-lives, cutovers, and post-launch stabilization efforts
Work within commercial interface engines (e.g., Corepoint, Rhapsody) to configure routes, mappings, transformations, and error handling
Support RESTful API and FHIR-based integrations, including authentication, payload validation, and retries
Collaborate with Engineering on deployment patterns, environment configuration, and scalability improvements
Document technical configurations, runbooks, and implementation standards to support repeatable deployments
Contribute to automation, templates, and tooling that reduce manual effort and improve reliability
Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on integration gaps, edge cases, and optimization opportunities
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting healthcare data integrations
Strong experience with HL7 messaging and commercial interface engines (e.g., Corepoint, Rhapsody)
Experience supporting X12 and/or NCPDP SCRIPT transactions and pharmacy-related data exchanges
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, secure connectivity (VPNs, certificates), and file transport protocols
Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern interoperability standards (FHIR preferred)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration and production issues across multiple systems
Comfort working directly with customer technical teams and collaborating cross-functionally
Preferred
Experience working in cloud environments, automation, or monitoring tooling is a plus
