Credit and Collection Manager
Career Coaching Cloud is seeking a Credit and Collection Manager to establish best practices in customer credit extension and assess creditworthiness. The role involves overseeing collections efforts, negotiating payment programs, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities
Establish Best practices and policy on extension of customer credit. Create a credit risk assessment environment consistent with the goals of the organization. Assesses credit and financial capacity of existing and potential customers
Review customer credit applications and evaluate creditworthiness; recommend credit limits
Oversee and approve the set-up of new customers, and changes to existing customers. Maintain and update, customer master files
Direct and coordinate collections efforts with Credit & Collections staff, Office Managers, Sales and Operational Managers
Negotiate payment programs with delinquent customers
Work with internal legal counsel or collection agencies on accounts that have been turned over to them for collections
Understanding of bankruptcies and actions to be taken
Understanding sales tax and determination of when applicable
Creative in determination of efficiencies and KPIs for team
Oversee and monitors bankruptcies and legal correspondence. Ensure internal/external legal counsel has necessary paperwork for their activities

Required

Must be able to analyze statistical and financial data
8-10 years in collections/AR procedures
Microsoft Office required
3-5 years supervisor experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
Dun & Bradstreet experience preferred
