Responsibilities
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Depending on the plant or location, may take on responsibility for and complete assignments as a Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Project Engineer or Maintenance & Reliability Engineer
Implements and leads production performance improvement projects, providing support to the engineering department in the various areas (safety/environmental, quality, capacity, competitiveness)
Analyzes and improves current processes to support environmental compliance, occupational/process safety and/or plant capacity
Implements and leads maintenance and reliability best practices
Leads and coordinates project work, including supervision of contractors, for plant or location improvements in line with the site
Under the supervision of one or several project leaders, performs basic engineer responsibilities such as drafting, design, project management, plant layouts, research, data collection and documentation
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Qualification
Required
An enrolled, full-time current Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, robotics, environmental, industrial)
Overall GPA > 2.7, with a GPA in major >3.0
