Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor decision support analysts; manage daily operations and project milestones
Consolidate clinical and financial data into comprehensive reports for cost accounting, service line profitability, and budget performance
Develop case-based budgeting models, utilization projections, and long-range financial plans
Perform cost/revenue analysis, variance explanations, benchmarking, and scenario modeling
Partner with Finance, Operations, and clinical leadership to support strategic initiatives through data-driven insights
Enhance reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical tools; lead automation initiatives and system implementations (e.g., Oracle/Med Metrix)
Oversee decision support projects, set priorities, and provide status updates to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience in decision support or related roles, with 1 to 3 years in a supervisory capacity
Experience in a healthcare setting with familiarity of hospital systems (Epic, cost-accounting, budgeting tools)
Proficiency in financial modeling, BI tools (Power BI, SQL, Excel), and cost-accounting applications
Ability to interpret large datasets, present complex analyses to senior leadership, and collaborate across teams
Strong project management and organizational skills with a track record of implementing strategic initiatives
Or, a satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, education and training to the above
