Responsibilities

Design and develop algorithms, real-time testing and tuning software for Cirrus Logic ICs
Build host-side Python applications to test, configure and demonstrate Cirrus Logic ICs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software tools, applications, and SQA
Support customer integration and field engineering efforts

Required

BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in audio signal processing and interfacing with hardware and drivers on Windows platforms
Customer-facing development experience in the Laptop/Desktop PC space
Advanced proficiency with Python application development, particularly hardware interfacing, and solid C/C++ experience
Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred

Experience with audio related electronics (codecs, filters, amplifiers, etc.)
Strong lab experience with acoustic measurement and audio quality evaluation metrics
Experience with classical machine learning techniques and modern neural network architectures for audio processing
Experience with Matlab for testing, control and algorithm development
Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and PyTorch
Knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, GDB) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, etc.)
