Contract Administrator
Suna Solutions is a fast-growing, local biopharma company seeking a Contract Administrator. In this role, you will manage a broad range of contract operations activities and serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders to drive contract efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
Draft, and negotiate contracts including Service and Supply Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Orders, Amendments, Material Transfer Agreements, consulting agreements, and CDAs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements
Serve as a liaison and business partner to internal stakeholders across assigned departments, helping ensure contract needs are met efficiently and with high quality
Manage contract lifecycle including intake, tracking, negotiation and execution in the company’s contract management system in collaboration with externally managed resources
Ensure contract terms align with internal policies and comply with company’s contracting standards
Identify and escalate redlines or complex agreements appropriately to attorneys, externally managed resources, or other relevant stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract language appropriately reflects project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Ensure all contract activities are documented accurately in the contract management system
Monitor contract expiration dates and coordinate renewals, amendments, and terminations
Support process improvements and system enhancements aimed at increasing efficiency, compliance, and scalability of contracts
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to triage and prioritize contract requests
Support assigned teams in overseeing their portfolio of contracts through all stages of the negotiation process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification strongly preferred
4+ years of experience in a contracts role, ideally within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
Demonstrated ability to draft and redline agreements, with a working knowledge of legal and business concepts relevant to biotech operations
Strong familiarity with contract types common in the biotech industry, including CDAs, CTAs, MTAs, MSAs, SOWs, consulting agreements, and amendments
Experience working in or alongside Legal, Clinical, CMC, R&D, or G&A functions within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
Proficiency in contract management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization
Attention to detail, organizational skills and impeccable time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated initiative with a results-oriented mindset
