DSP Construction & Engineering Intern [On-Site]
EDF power solutions North America is a market-leading independent power producer and service provider focused on delivering clean energy solutions. The DSP Construction & Engineering Intern will support solar and battery storage project assignments, becoming proficient in creating and managing engineering deliverables while collaborating with the engineering team throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities
Prepare engineering deliverables, including plan and elevation drawings, schematics, calculations, and schedules in support of PV (photovoltaic) energy generation system design, for commercial and utility projects in the 1 MW to 200 MW scale
Create, organize, and maintain documents associated with projects’ basis of design throughout the project life cycle
Communications with Project Managers, who coordinate scheduling and permitting for project execution
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a graduate student specializing in design or construction engineering
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship (F-1 Visa, OPT, CPT, etc.) is not and will not be available for this position
National Electric Code and other model codes
Computer-based drafting experience (AutoCAD)
Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite products
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
Preferred
Design experience, particularly in designing electrical systems or electrical systems for construction
NABCEP PV Associates certification
Experience with industry-standard PV systems and energy modeling tools
