They are seeking a motivated Associate Digital Editor to manage content, engage with the community, and enhance audience relationships through compelling digital content.

Publishing

Responsibilities

Work with FineWoodworking.com editor to manage a monthly calendar of content and assignments, including new blogs and articles, magazine content, videos, and podcasts
Find and recruit new contributors to the website to bring diverse perspectives to the product
Manage Fine Woodworking social media channels
Create and edit content in WordPress, following best SEO strategies
Refine existing and new content to improve SEO ranking (adding links, formatting HTML, and writing appropriate copy as needed)
Build content packages and collections that drive traffic and feed membership growth
Assemble content for brand e-letters
Other content-related assignments as needed

Required

A strong background in woodworking is required
1-3 years related media/content creation experience
Strong writer and editor
Well organized and strategic, creative thinker
Can manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok)
Basic understanding of HTML
Experience with WordPress, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SharePoint
