Responsibilities
To perform entry-level lab work, data analysis, and experimental planning of a routine nature as directed by full-time engineer
The Intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the team including regular interfacing with other R&D functions such as Hardware, Analytical, Software, and Project Management
We expect the intern to gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes. The intern will have opportunities to assist in nearly all aspects of the workflow
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete
Understanding of complex systems with both hardware and software
Strong organizational skills for creating test plans per objectives, collecting data, and reporting out learnings/conclusions
Skill with analyzing numeric data sets and creating graphical summaries
Ability to execute test plans independently
Detailed eye for documentation of test methods and results
Requires confidence in using Microsoft Word and Excel tools
Requires enthusiasm, motivation, initiative and ability to work within an interactive, energetic, and collaborative workplace
Ability to multitask
Preferred
Desired: experience with programming and/or scripting as it relates to controlling hardware
