Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations
East Carolina University is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations to oversee the administration and management of the athletic ticket office. Responsibilities
Oversee the administration and management of all planning, operations and fiscal management of the athletic ticket office
Provide the leadership, professional expertise and discretion to direct the overall ticket operations at a high standard of excellence
Perform duties consistent with the goals and values of the department, division, and university and ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, university and governmental policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines applicable to the athletics ticket office operation
Evaluate the effectiveness of the unit operations which includes, but not limited to, business operations, customer sales and service and appropriate communication to all constituencies
Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive ticket sales plan for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
Focus on the generation of new ticket revenue, development and management of prospect lists, coordination of outbound ticket sales efforts including the creation of season ticket campaigns, group sales, and ticket promotions
Develop revenue forecasting reports
Interpret and communicate guidelines, policies, etc. to recognize, define and resolve standard and non-standard problems applying operating procedures, practices and established precedents
Resolve recurring issues and problems as well as unique situations
Understand and apply a variety of features in software programs, databases, information systems in the performance of their duties
Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with athletics, Pirate Club, university staff, students, and all constituencies and stakeholders on all levels, including face-to-face, phone, and electronic communications
Work nights and weekends as expected in the performance of duties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions

Preferred
Master's Degree and 3 years of experience in collegiate or professional athletics ticket operations or equivalent related experience preferred
