Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with Pivotal Systems' business objectives
Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving organizational goals
Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Implement procurement best practices to optimize costs and enhance supplier performance
Oversee inventory planning and forecasting, implementing strategies to minimize carrying costs while maintaining optimal stock levels
Implement robust inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies and shortages
Streamline transportation and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce transit times
Lead a high-performing, cross-functional supply chain team, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement
Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and contribution
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, regularly assessing performance against benchmarks
Prepare and present comprehensive reports to executive leadership on supply chain performance and improvement opportunities
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to maintain Pivotal Systems' competitive advantage
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain
Monitor external factors affecting the supply chain and proactively address challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience (8+ years) in supply chain management with a focus on operations and logistics
Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performance teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, industry best practices, and emerging trends
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
