Responsibilities

Run test on products and equipment to ensure they function properly

Provide suggestions for possible ways to improve product and equipment

Analyze machine operations and offer suggestions for improvement

Work with sketches, marked-up prints, and verbal instructions given by design to prepare engineering drawings for shop use in manufacturing products

Check personal work to ensure anticipated problems in manufacturing assembly, installation, and operation are resolved

Wear personal protective equipment as required

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Two-year technical degree or a minimum of five (5) years in a manufacturing environment required

Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus

Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects with multiple priorities

Must be able to handle sudden changes in project/priority

Must have knowledge of engineering systems of symbols and must be able to read a design print and system schematics

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
