Responsibilities
Direct world-class research programs that span neurological and cardiovascular diseases, cancer, immunology, virology and bioinformatics
Focus on HIV Cure research and areas related to SARS-CoV-2, mRNA vaccines, and phage therapy
Demonstrate outstanding records of innovative research and academic performance
Engage in research topics including AI, synthetic protein biology, therapeutics, viral evolution, vector-borne diseases, and microbiome research
Exhibit a demonstrated interest in virology research and relevance to current and future pandemics
Maintain a track record of independent grant support
Qualification
Required
Possess a medical or doctoral degree
Appropriate post-MD or postdoctoral training
Outstanding records of innovative research
Academic performance
Commitment to disease-, treatment- or prevention-focused research in infectious and commensal microbes, host immune responses to pathogens, or pandemic preparedness
Demonstrated interest in virology research and relevance to current and future pandemics
Track record of independent grant support
