Study design and hypothesis development
Literature review and database research
Data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation
Manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed journals
Abstract submission and preparation for regional and national meetings
Participate in orthopaedic resident didactics
Work closely with residents and faculty
Observe in orthopaedic clinics and operating rooms
Attendance and presentation at regional and national orthopaedic meetings
Opportunity to participate in an international Operation Walk medical mission
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled medical student
Must have completed 2nd year of Medical School
Preferred
Prior research experience (clinical, outcomes, or basic science)
Strong interest in pursuing orthopaedic surgery residency
