This role involves creating structure, improving processes, and working closely with executive leadership during a period of rapid growth.

Responsibilities
Build and lead the company’s accounting function
Own the monthly close process and general ledger integrity
Establish accounting policies, documentation, and internal controls
Partner closely with a fractional CFO and executive leadership
Prepare financial statements and support audit readiness
Help evaluate and implement a new ERP system
Hire and manage a bookkeeper as the team grows
Develop and maintain SaaS metrics and reporting (ARR, churn, revenue recognition, etc.)
Qualification
Required
SaaS accounting experience with strong KPI fluency
Experience building or improving accounting processes
Strong knowledge of GAAP and close management
Comfortable working in a lean, evolving environment
Hands on, self-directed, and organized
Preferred
CPA or actively pursuing CPA
ERP implementation exposure
