Responsibilities
Executes Formalized and Free Form Test Scripts for all supported brands of Point-of-Sale Platforms as directed
Test assignments may include testing of new releases, upgrades and fixes, Inner Circle Campaigns for retail Point of Sale Systems, Smart Checkout and Lift system
Creation of end-to-end test plan and execution
Manage all activities in the test plan to ensure all objectives are met and the solution works as expected
Create detailed test scripts
Creation of detailed Test Notes for test efforts of assigned project
Document detailed defects found during system/software test cycle
Escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
Provide status updates as needed during the system/software test cycle
Assists in developing and maintaining documentation pertaining to the various systems supported by the Retail Systems group
Works with various Brand Test Host contacts with troubleshooting test host connection/setup issues
Assist with end-user questions
Assist in creation of training documentation
Assist with testing and quality assurance of Enterprise forms
Understands and follows all current support processes and procedures, recommends process and procedure enhancements where appropriate and necessary
Documents and updates processes
Participates in special projects and assignments and performs other duties that may be assigned
Assist others to meet organizational goals and to share knowledge
Qualification
Required
High School degree or GED with 1 - 2 years experience in a QA role for the Retail Support environment. Also fine with someone fresh out of college
Demonstrates a positive attitude
Ability to read and listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and written
Ability to process information, including gathering, interpreting, assessing, organizing, and verifying data and material problems with computer hardware and software
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system & Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. – Beginner level
Ability to effectively research, analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals
