Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain NX Open programs, macros, and automation scripts
Write, modify, and optimize G-code programs for CNC machining of tire molds
Convert 3D CAD models into accurate machining paths and toolpaths
Automate repetitive design and machining tasks within Siemens NX
Collaborate with engineers and CNC programmers to ensure designs translate into manufacturable solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with NX automation tools and CNC programs
Develop and integrate machine tool probing routines for setup verification and in-process inspection
Build automated probing macros and incorporate feedback into adaptive machining workflows
Maintain documentation for software tools, scripts, and machining instructions
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 requirements
Provide technical support, training, and guidance to engineering and CNC teams
Assign tasks to junior programmers and support cross-training initiatives
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of hands-on experience with CAD/CAM and 3D modeling software (Siemens NX or SolidWorks preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience with Siemens NX programming, including NX Open development
Strong proficiency in G-code programming for CNC machining
Solid understanding of CAM processes and CNC machining operations
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
