Responsibilities
Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
Drive and manage the studies and investigations within the streams and projects with a global mandate
Maintain and evolve the library of power systems model within the team and lead the work on his / her scope
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Direct current knowledge is required due to integration of PV and batteries in DERs
Master one or two tools of simulation and would be willing to implement in Mathworks environment the studies regarding different architectures
Willing to travel up to 20%
Work a Hybrid (average at least 2 days onsite) schedule based out of Raleigh, NC
ED (electrical distribution) equipment behavior modelling
Protection algorithms
Microgrids, Advanced Distribution management System
Smart grid, REN integration, Distribution Network Planning
Power System Optimization, Transient analysis
Switching overvoltage's, Insulation Coordination, Transient Recovery Voltage
Preferred
A PhD or a seniority level experience is valuable/preferred
