Associate Director - Multimedia & Production

Responsibilities
Lead on-boarding and training efforts for new multimedia game-day staff
Plan and direct live broadcasts of home athletic events, and select external events held at Athletics facilities
Lead the maintenance, service and regular upgrade of multimedia control rooms, production facilities, and broadcasting equipment
Devise, storyboard, plan and produce multimedia feature content, telling the story of what makes the University, athletics department, coaches and student-athletes different and special
Serve as primary contact between Harvard University Athletics and ESPN
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
At least 5 years of experience in live production or broadcasting required. Internships or part-time work can be included
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferably in audio/visual communications, design multimedia production or journalism
Previous experience in sports production desired
Must have outstanding organizational, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of current and emergent audio/video technologies and video production
Must be able to work independently
