They are seeking a Vice President for Legal & Compliance to enhance workflows and integrate AI tools, while managing legal processes and collaborating with various teams for process improvement.

Responsibilities
Continuously evaluate and integrate AI tools for Legal & Compliance functions (e.g., Harvey, Norm AI, Ontra, Gen II)
Assess and implement strategies to leverage the capabilities of the India team (700 employees) for Legal & Compliance support
Enhance processing workflows for NDAs, vendor agreements, enterprise-wide contracts, and subscription agreements
Streamline processes for entity creation, organizational charts, law firm billing, counterparty risk assessments, and filings, ensuring linkage to accounting and reporting systems
Develop and maintain standardized templates for high-volume agreements to improve efficiency and consistency
Establish a centralized platform for tracking and managing the above processes, while expanding the functionality of existing software solutions
Monitor law firm engagement across the organization, consolidate work to reduce costs, and transition assignments to lower-cost firms where appropriate
Standardize the legal review process for operating companies and create a management dashboard to provide visibility into the Pretium legal team’s workload
Provide interim support in managing and processing legal work until a dedicated team of local paralegals is hired and onboarded
Collaborate with Insurance and Security teams to identify similar opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization, with long-term potential to extend these efficiencies beyond Legal & Compliance
Qualification
Required
Experience in evaluating and integrating AI tools for Legal & Compliance functions
Ability to assess and implement strategies for leveraging team capabilities for Legal & Compliance support
Experience in enhancing processing workflows for NDAs, vendor agreements, enterprise-wide contracts, and subscription agreements
Skills in streamlining processes for entity creation, organizational charts, law firm billing, counterparty risk assessments, and filings
Experience in developing and maintaining standardized templates for high-volume agreements
Ability to establish a centralized platform for tracking and managing legal processes
Experience in monitoring law firm engagement and consolidating work to reduce costs
Skills in standardizing the legal review process and creating management dashboards
Ability to provide interim support in managing and processing legal work
Experience in collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
