Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of research, including study design and hypothesis development
Conduct literature review and database research
Perform data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation
Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Submit and prepare abstracts for regional and national meetings
Participate in orthopaedic resident didactics
Work closely with residents and faculty
Observe in orthopaedic clinics and operating rooms
Attend and present at regional and national orthopaedic meetings
Participate in an international Operation Walk medical mission
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled medical student
Must have completed 2nd year of Medical School
Preferred
Prior research experience (clinical, outcomes, or basic science)
Strong interest in pursuing orthopaedic surgery residency
