Outside Sales Account Manager

Technical Maintenance, Inc. (TMI) operates a nationwide network of accredited Calibration Laboratories and Onsite Technical Services. They are seeking an experienced Outside Account Manager to drive new business and manage client relationships across the Florida territory, focusing on sales of calibration and repair services.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an effective territory and time management plan across Florida
Identify new business opportunities using sales intelligence tools and industry networking
Conduct 12–15 in-person customer meetings per week to assess calibration needs and present TMI solutions
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across quality, calibration, purchasing, and accounting teams
Partner with local Branch Managers and lab leadership to develop quotes and respond to RFPs
Drive sales of test & measurement calibration and repair services
Promote and expand product distribution sales to new and existing customers
Grow existing accounts by identifying additional services and solutions TMI can provide
Analyze customer markets and competitor activities to develop and execute a winning sales strategy
Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data within CRM
Provide monthly sales activity and performance reports
Support smooth customer onboarding and coordination between customers and TMI operations
Travel extensively throughout the Florida territory, with travel typically planned and minimal overnight stays

Required

Technical or manufacturing sales experience required
Willingness to travel throughout Florida territory on a regular basis
Proven success in B2B sales or business development, ideally in a manufacturing or services environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

Preferred

Hands-on calibration, metrology, or technical experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with the calibration industry and competitors is a plus
